Angie Howell and Denise Richards have taken on the task of co-coordinators for the Club. They are looking for volunteers to help with items such as Donut Saturdays, 50/50 drawings, and snacks.

Tuesday’s meeting will be from 7 to 8 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Election of Officers – September 13

We had a good turnout for our last meeting. It was determined that we would elect officers in our next meeting on Tuesday, September 13.
We are continuing to look for volunteers for the rest of the season from working the chains at JV home games to helping with Donut Saturdays. If you aren’t able to attend the meeting, please use the contact page to volunteer and we will contact you.

For those who were not able to attend the meeting this past Thursday, we have scheduled another meeting for Tuesday, August 30th at 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

Organizational Meeting Scheduled

Our organizational meeting is set for Thursday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Items for the meeting include a vote for officers and discussion of activities for the season.
If you are unable to attend the meeting but interested in assisting, please use our contact page to let us know your contact information. We will get with you as soon as possible.
Asisstance is needed in both volunteers and finances. If you are able to volunteer, we have several opportunities for you to donate your time. If you are able to assist financially, we can accept cash, check or Paypal for monetary donations. These can be mailed to Muncie Football Boosters, c/o Gary Sewell, 1807 E 23rd Street, Muncie, IN 47302. Or you can use our contact page and we’ll be happy to pick up if you are local. Businesses that choose to donate will be listed on our website as a thank you.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday and making the season memorable for the players!

Members Needed

We’re looking for members!

If you are interested in volunteering for 2011, use the Contact Us page to give us your contact information. We will get with you ASAP to see what your interests are and how you can help..

For those who may be new to our concept, the Club was started years ago to provide support to the team in both morale and substance. We provide food, drink and snacks as motivation and spirit-building. In return, the players work hard every day to provide us with excellent entertainment on the field.

Some of the things we do include:

Spaghetti Dinners (or pizza, etc.) on Thursday nights before home Varsity games
Donuts on Saturday after film and practice
Fruit during halftime of Varsity and Junior Varsity games
Water and snacks on the bus rides for Varsity and Junior Varsity away games
Assist with the chains during JV Home games

We also have occasional tailgate parties for the parents/families to get together before the games.

The two things we are in need of are volunteers and financial support. Without volunteers to perform the functions above, there is no need for a Club to exist. And without financial support, the volunteers don’t have anything to provide. We don’t ask members to pay to be part of the Club. Those who can provide financial support do and those who can’t are welcomed in just the same. We also solicit donations from businesses and the community as well as hold 50/50 drawings at Varsity home games (another volunteer need).

The list above doesn’t prohibit us from doing other activities. But we need the members to step forward and make their suggestions known. We hope to hear from you soon.

Preview of the 2011 Season

We are all excited about 2011 and the prospect of a fifth-straight winning season. We’re looking forward to explosive games and hard-hitting, fun football.

The game at Lucas Oil Stadium against cross-town rival Muncie Central just adds an extra layer of fun.
